Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 18th August 2021 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 18th August 2021

Wild wind, water and snow did its absolute best to put as many anglers off fishing the past week but they still found a way.

FOUR SPRINGS LAKE

Species:  Brown & Rainbow Trout.

As always Four Springs Lake is one of the go to destinations early on in the Trout season and there’s a good reason why, with Anglers still having great success. The early season is the perfect time to fish Four Springs because as the warm weather picks up so does the weed growth, rendering the lake nearly impossible to fish through summer.

EAST COAST

Species:  Bluefin Tuna.

Both St Helens and Eaglehawk Neck both recording Bluefin catches over the past week which is great to see. As mentioned last week they are very few and far between, so running a spread of Hardbody divers and Skirted lures will be your best option.
