ST HELENS
Species:Â Mako Shark, Blue Eye Trevalla, Flathead and Morwong
Much the same as last week out of St Helens.
Mako Sharks and Blue Eye Trevalla both fishing well out on the Shelf. Lumo bottom rigs giving you the added edge for the Trevalla and large fresh baits for the Makos.
And for those not wanting to venture out too far offshore, there has been plenty of Flathead and Morwong caught closer inshore. Jig Em bottom rigs providing a simple yet effective way to catch them.
BRIDPORT
Species: Flathead, Gummy Shark.
The North Coast of Tasmania is still fishing extremely well for Snapper, with impressive catches being reported all along the coast.
Paternoster Rigs with fresh bait working well, with the odd bycatch of Gummy Sharks being reported.
EAST COAST
Species: Flathead, Cocky Salmon.
The entire East Coast of Tasmania is alive with Tuna currently, with both Blue Fin and Albacore Tuna being caught up and down the coast.
Halco Laser Pro and Halco Max both working well. Check out the range of Halco lures on our website below.
