Mudeyes are the final larvae stage of the dragon fly. The Strike Tiger 1.8″ mudeye is a creature bait that has been specifically designed to imitate this natural food source.
They can be found in many freshwater systems throughout Tasmania and mainland Australia. Trout absolutely love to eat these things in the summer months!
A Strike Tiger mudeye can be used the traditional way – by just rigging it using a standard bait holder hook, split-shot sinker, and suspending it under a float; or you can use a jigheads to bring the soft plastic to life underwater.
The combination of colours, action and scent is aimed at increasing your chances of catching fish.
