Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 3 July 2019

Despite the cool winter temperatures there is still a lot of good fishing action happening around the state, with diehard fishers taking every opportunity to get out on the water and try their luck.

EAST COAST

Species: Bluefin Tuna
The Tuna have finally started to run up the east coast, with plenty of 20-30kg schoolies reported, Ritcher skirted lures and the Halco laser pro in the King brown colour the stand out lures.

LOWHEAD

Species: Calamari
Located around the heads, predominately inside the mouth of the river. Yamashita Jigs the go to lure.

BRIDPORT

Species: Flathead
Mustard flasher rigs doing the damage.

NORTH COAST

Species: Gummy shark
Flasher rigs or a running rig with fresh bait the go to
