Wind, wind, wind, wind, lovely day, wind, wind basically sums up the fishing conditions for the past week.
BRIDPORT
Species: Flathead and Gummy Shark.
The ever popular fishing destination on the North Coast, Bridport has been producing plenty of Flathead and Gummy Sharks this past week.
Generally speaking you are going to have better luck if you have a boat, but there is nothing stopping you from having a crack from the beach. Flasher rigs working well on both.
KELSO
Species: Whiting / Squid.
Plenty of action still happening around the mouth of the river with the Squid and Whiting making up the majority of that. Hayabusa Whiting rigs have been designed tor Tasmanian waters and are a ideal way to land some.
And as always if they are in the area, a simple Squid jig is all you need to fish for Squid.
BRUSHY LAGOON
Species: Rainbow Trout.
Located off the Frankford Highway, Brushy Lagoon is a man made lagoon normally renowned for its stocked Atlantic Salmon, but lately anglers have been having great success targeting Rainbow Trout. Depending on the conditions, either Soft Plastics or Hard Body lures working a treat.
