Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 9th September 2020

SCHOUTEN PASSAGE

Species: Bluefin Tuna.

The Bluefin are back on the east coast, with anglers reporting catches down around Schouten Passage. Halco Laser Pros still doing the damage.

LAKE LEAKE

Species: Brown & Rainbow Trout.

And as it has been the past few weeks, Lake Leake is still the go to destination for Trout with the Lake still providing ample fish. Both Soft Plastics and Hard Body Lures still working well.

TAILRACE

Species: Sea Run Trout.

A little closer to home, the Tail Race is a great location to give you the chance to land a nice Sea Run Trout. Bait including Eels and Worms work great, as the out take of the hydro station effectively acts as a giant Eel mincer, the only drama you will have is avoiding the crowds.
