Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 30th September 2020

LAKE LEAKE

Species: Brown & Rainbow Trout.

Lake Leake again providing good catches of Brown and Rainbow Trout and still in ample numbers.
Both Soft Plastics and Hard Body working well.

SCHOUTEN ISLAND

Species: Bluefin Tuna.

Bluefin Tuna are still around, with anglers reporting a few catches down around the Shouten Island area. Halco Laser Pro’s and Skirted Lures are the go to choice to land one.

KELSO

Species: King George Whiting.

Another week and the Whiting are still biting in the Kelso flats area. Sandy patches among the weed and broken bottom, in 2 – 6 metres of water are the ideal spots to hook on to one. Hayabusa Whiting Rigs still the go to.
