Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 2nd June 2021

EAST COAST

Species:ย  Bluefin Tuna.

Bluefin was once again the go to on the East Coast with anglers having great success on the Schoolies. The Jumbos/Barrels starting to get a bit more difficult to find, how ever a triple hook up last week providing hope that they are still lurking below.

DEVONPORT

Species:ย  Bluefin Tuna.

Another weekend and another Barrel landed off the coast of Devonport this week. With plenty of bait being reported along the coast, there is no reason they wont continue to be in the area for a bit longer.

LOW HEAD – BRIDPORT

Species:ย  Gummy Sharks, Flathead.

A near perfect weekend provided anglers the perfect opportunity to head out off the North Coast to find a solid feed of Gummy Sharks and Flathead. Long lines were the most effective way to target a Gummy and the ever faithful Jig Em bottom rig the most effective method on targeting a flathead.
