Tamar Marine Fishing Report - 26 February 2020 - Tamar Marine: Boating, Fishing & Marine Gear

Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 26 February 2020

EAGLEHAWK NECK

Species: Bluefin & Albacore Tuna.

Skirted lures doing the damage down south this weekend with plenty of schoolies being caught. Anglers reported instances of triple and quadruple hook ups, providing plenty of action for the people who made the effort to venture down.

GEORGES BAY

Species: Smorgasbord

Georges Bay is well and truly the place to be at the moment with Snapper, Trevally, Salmon, Taylor, and Kingfish being reported. Georges Bay is the perfect place to take the family fishing as it provides ample fishing locations, off the shore, in a kayak or out in a boat.

GREAT LAKE

Species: Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout.

Great Lake is fishing well this past week. With the warmer weather, the best method is trolling Cobra Lures with lead line to drag them down a bit deeper.
