Wakeboard Rockers: three stage vs continuous – which is best for you?

Wakeboard rockers refer to the curve of the board’s underside, which determines how the board behaves on the water. A three-stage rocker has a more dramatic curve with three distinct sections: the tip, the middle, and the tail. This design creates a lot of pop and allows the rider to generate more speed and air off the wake. It is best suited for advanced riders who are comfortable with a more aggressive ride.

A continuous rocker, on the other hand, has a more gradual, flowing curve that is uniform throughout the length of the board. This design provides a smooth, predictable ride and is well-suited for beginners and intermediate riders. Continuous rockers are also good for riders who want a more relaxed, laid-back ride.

Ultimately, the choice between a three-stage rocker and a continuous rocker depends on your riding style and ability. If you’re a beginner, a continuous rocker may be a good choice for you. If you’re an advanced rider looking for a more aggressive ride, a three-stage rocker may be more suitable.
