Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 2nd December 2020

WOODS LAKE

Species:  Brown Trout.

Woods Lake has been fishing well the past few weeks for Brown Trout with anglers reporting some great catches. Trolling lures such as Tassie Devils and Small Diving lures working a treat.

NORTH WEST COAST

Species:  Snapper.

The North West Coast was the Snapper hot spot this week with some really impressive Snapper being landed.

As was with last week, fresh bait and the turning of the tide as well as finding a bit of bottom structure is your best chance of landing one.

2 MILE REEF

Species:  Calamari Squid.

2 Mile Reef just around the corner of the Tamar Heads was the place to be this week for chasing Calamari Squid.

Lumo and Fluro colour Squid Jigs the more popular colours this week.
