Tamar Marine Fishing Report – 11th November 2020

BASS STRAIGHT

Species:  Calamari Squid.

Another great weekend out on the water with some awesome fishing conditions to go along with it.

Calamari Squid have been reported all up and down the North Coast, with many anglers simply drifting squid jigs out the back of their boats while bottom fishing for other fish. Fluro Orange and Green working the best this week.

TOOMS LAKE AND LAKE LEAKE

Species: Rainbow and Brown Trout.

Both the East Coast Lakes, Tooms Lake and Lake Leake continuing to fish well with some impressive fish being caught from both lakes over the past week. Hawk Sniper Lures working well on both lakes.

WATERHOUSE ISLAND

Species: King George Whiting.

King George Whiting at Waterhouse Island was all the rage this week with some absolute monsters being caught, with a few surpassing the 600mm length.

The purpose built Hayabusa Whiting rigs still doing the majority of the damage.
